Shipping Policy – A&K Land & Cattle

Free Shipping:
We offer free nationwide shipping on all orders over $150.

Shipping Schedule:
All perishable orders ship once weekly on Mondays. Depending on order volume, additional shipments may go out Tuesday or Wednesday.

Order Cut-Off:
Orders must be placed by Sunday at 7:00 PM CST to be included in Monday’s shipment. Orders placed after this time will ship the following week.

Processing Time:
Please allow 3–5 business days for processing in addition to transit times. For example, an order placed on Wednesday for delivery in California will ship the following Monday.

Pickup Option:
Pickup is available at A&K Land & Cattle. Most pickup orders are ready within 24 hours.

Product Condition:
Orders are shipped frozen with dry ice or gel packs. Products may arrive frozen, partially frozen, or cold to the touch. Partially thawed items are safe to refreeze.

Handling Dry Ice:
Dry ice may be partially dissipated upon arrival. This is normal. Avoid direct contact—use gloves and dispose of dry ice outdoors in a ventilated area, away from children and pets.

Weather Delays:
We reserve the right to delay shipments due to severe weather. Customers will be notified by phone and/or email of any delays, which typically last 1–2 business days during winter months.

2025 Holiday Shipping Schedule

  • Sept 1 – No shipping (Labor Day)

  • Nov 17 – Last day for standard orders before Thanksgiving

  • Nov 24 – No shipping

  • Dec 15 – Last day for standard orders

  • Dec 17 – Last day for Nebraska + surrounding states + air shipments

  • Dec 22 – No shipping

  • Dec 29 – No shipping

  • Jan 5, 2026 – First ship day of 2026

  • Jan 19, 2026 – No shipping (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
